1. Colors you should choose

At the moment of selecting colors, to decorate or for paintings, the options are very wide. First, one must be sure of at least one color that your eye is attracted to and one feels pleasant with it, from there, a variety of color combinations with that color are nearly endless. Something that helps, is knowing the categories of colors, cold colors and warm; it is accepted to combine cold colors with cold colors, it is easier, but that is just my opinion. After identifying the colors one wants in the design, one can look at its complementary colors; there are many pallets available online to take ideas. Always choose color combinations that go well with our walls, furniture, and this are the details that at the end of it all make the ambiance feel pleasant and welcome.

2. Size we must take into consideration when buying a picture

We should have an idea in which place we want to set the painting. After having the area furnished or the thought of how it will be, there should be an idea of what composition is the one we want; a single painting, various little ones, a really big masterpiece, the way you like it, maybe its not the same vision of what I like…

As an example, if we have a welcome table and we want to establish a painting right there where the table is, we have to be sure to get the size right, we need something that isn’t too small or the area will look very small, or too big, that it overpowers the table; we need something just right so that the proportion feels right to our eye. My formula is always get a painting ¾ parts to the furniture related to it, or the closest size to the furniture close to it. There are many formulas, which I can discuss later on.

3. Area should be placed a picture

There are no limits to where one can set a painting, which is what is so magnificent of them; they can be in any space. The essential spaces for a home are: the living room, dinning, welcome area & rooms. This also applies to offices, yet in restaurants is just another category, the visitors must feel entertained when in a place like that, so it is recommended to set art on many different spots so the clients can feel they have many to see while in their time spent in the place.

4. Techniques used today and paintings that are trendy

The style being utilized is abstract/modern because paintings have grown to be more minimalist. I go in this category, because abstract painting complements much more than a specific figure art. Like for example, a painting that is a roster – I am not denigrating this style just bringing actual tendencies-. Reality is that art has gone to a style that appreciates the colors in a simple form, geometric, lines, with textures.

1. Colores que debes elegir a la hora de comprar un cuadro

Al momento de seleccionar colores, ya sea para decorar o para cuadros, las opciones son bastante amplias. Lo primero que debemos hacer es estar seguros de al menos un color que nos agrade, y de ahí partir a la variedad de combinaciones con ese color. Algo que ayuda es conocer las categorías de los colores, existen los colores fríos y los cálidos; es siempre bueno combinar los fríos con los fríos y cálidos con ellos mismos (pero esto es sólo mi opinión). Después de identificar el color que deseemos seguro en nuestro diseño, se busca sus complementarios, de esto hay muchas paletas de colores disponibles online para usar de idea. Debemos elegir colores que combinen y hagan un buen contraste con nuestras paredes, muebles, estas son cosas que van de la mano por que la meta final es que se vea un ambiente encantador y a la vez agradable.

2. Tamaño que debes tomar en consideración a la hora de comprar un cuadro

Debemos tener pensado para dónde se piensa colocar el cuadro, eso es primordial. Luego de tener el área amueblada o pensada cómo se desea, se debe tomar en consideración la composición que se quiere lograr con el cuadro, si quiere que sea algo en el centro, varios detalles pequeños, uno grande, que resalte…

Es mejor explicarlo con un ejemplo, si tenemos una mesa de recibidor y queremos un cuadro para esa pared donde está ésta debe ser complementario con la mesa, no debe ser más grande que se vea cargado sobre la mesa ni muy pequeño que se minimice al entrar la persona al hogar. Es un juego de proporción, el cuadro debe ser ¾ partes del grande que el mueble que esté bajo él o ser el tamaño más cercano al mueble posible, para que se vea proporcional y el área que quieras decorar se sienta y se vea equilibrado y agradable (pero ésta es sólo una de mis formula) hay muchas más que se pueden discutir más adelante.

3. Area se debe colocar un cuadro

No hay límites de donde se puede colocar un cuadro, eso es lo magnifico de los cuadros, se pueden poner en cualquier espacio. Los lugares más esenciales para complementar un área en una residencia son: la Sala, Comedor y Recibidor, Family y los Cuartos. Esto también aplica a oficinas, ya en los restaurantes son otra categoría que necesitan que el visitante tenga varios puntos de vista, por ende poner cuadros en todas las paredes es recomendado.

4. Técnicas de cuadros utilizadas hoy día y que están de moda

Se están utilizando los estilos modernos/abstractos en las pinturas debido a que ya la decoración se ha movido a ser minimalista. Yo entro en ésta categoría, además de que un cuadro abstracto complementa en mucho más ámbito que una pintura figurativa bien específica, como ejemplo un arte de un gallo, -y no estoy denigrando ese estilo de arte, sólo informando de las tendencias actuales-. La tendencia se ha ido a la apreciación de los colores en su forma más simple y sencilla, ya sea en formas geométricas, líneas, con texturas.
